ABOUT ME

My name is Vershaune Stamps. I am a proud voice teacher and licensed esthetician from Jackson, Mississippi. My journey has been shaped by two deep passions: music and skincare. I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to work in both of these fields, and I strive to inspire and empower others through the work I do.
I’ve always had a love for music, and that passion led me to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance from Tougaloo College, which I earned in 2018. During my time at Tougaloo, I developed my voice and expanded my understanding of performance. After graduation, I was fortunate to perform in professional musicals at New Stage Theater in Jackson, where I gained invaluable experience on stage.
As a voice teacher, I am passionate about helping my students discover their unique vocal sound and build the confidence to express themselves through music. Seeing them grow and flourish in their abilities is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
While music has always been my first love, my interest in skincare blossomed during my time as a freelance makeup artist. As I worked with clients to enhance their beauty for performances and special events, I realized how much I enjoyed helping people feel more confident in their own skin. This led me to the Mississippi Institute for Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Nails, where I earned my esthetician license. I am now able to combine my love for artistry and self-care through my business, Face It Esthetics, where I offer personalized skincare treatments that empower my clients to feel radiant and confident.
I am incredibly excited to become a part of the MSPA Organization, where I look forward to serving my local community and helping to empower women everywhere.

About My
Platform

My platform is “Mirror This”. The mission is to redefine what it means to be truly beautiful. In a world where women are often taught that beauty is only measured by the perfect makeup, the right hairstyle, or the latest fashion, I believe that real beauty is far more profound. It radiates from within, from the confidence we carry, the kindness we show, and the strength we embody every day.
Mirror This is dedicated to helping women recognize and embrace their unique beauty, both inside and out. Through interactive makeup and Skincare classes and empowering events, women will be guided through a simple yet transformative everyday makeup routine, while also delving into the deeper, more meaningful aspects of beauty—confidence, self-love, and kindness. By combining practical beauty skills with personal empowerment, Mirror This aims to inspire women to feel as beautiful as they are, not just in the mirror, but in every part of their lives.
